Font mood board

For my font mood board, i included many different variations that i thought would suit the target audience of a teen pop magazine. This included all of the font being from DaFont which is a website which allows you to copy fonts made by other people. These fonts can be easily found through a selection of genres which allowed me to find target audience appropriate fonts. I like the fonts of the ones that have circles on as it looks like show business which will also fit the target audience.

Colour mood board and analysis.

I mainly chose these colours because the overall colours used in successful pop magazines have extremely bright colours that have no edit towards them, such as a bright red with no extra effects to the filled colour. I will stick to using blocks of colours with no extra detail as it catches the eyes of my target audience. I used these colours mainly to show brightness as well as seeing that they were the most popular colours on other magazines, especially the pinks and purples. Most text is usually a block colour, but sometimes has an outline of another bright colour to bring out the importance of the cover line/advertisement to the consumer. The words can also be plain black, but mostly has a single word of the sentence highlighted, to show that the magazine is never boring. I will use the majority of these colours to create my magazine to fit and be appropriate for the target audience.
